Life in My Years

I’ve been sleeping with a song about the Erie Canal playing softly in the background every single night for the past week and a half. It’s a simple song, but there’s something about her voice, or maybe it’s the melody or the lyrics or the guitar strumming — or all these things —  that is infinitely comforting to me. I love it!
