I disagree about Jeremy’s performance as well. I thought he was a great Peter Pan. I think he unintentionally brought his own smug boyishness to the roll. Thats how Peter would of been, He is a child above all else. I think when this role has been played by women in the past they bring such a mature aspect to the character that simply is not supposed to be there. I think that he lacked a bit of experience, and could of delivered lines a bit better. But over all he was a great peter, his flirtyness and simplemindedness really brought Peter to life. He is a boy who lives in a world where he is in charge of all the lost boys and he flights pirates and never loses. I dont know how many little boys you know, but this is exactly how they would be if they lived in such a world.

This Peter Pan is THE BEST! I never liked any of the other versions,and watched this one just for Jeremy,who,by the way,is AMAZING! I love his hair,his smile…he did a perfect perfect job and they couldn’t have gotten anyone better.

this is crap. jeremy played an AMAZING Pan! the awkwardness and ‘sunkissed’ skin and unruly hair, the awkward smile, thats all peter pan! if you think pan is supposed to be some little child then you have no idea what barrie was writing. pan is supposed to be indifferent. its all a game. if you’ve ever read the book he completely forget who hook and tinker bell are. those things aren’t important to him because that adventure is over and its time for a new one. pan is supposed to be annoying, smug, childish and carefree. its obvious you have abolutely no idea who/what pan and the idea of him really is. i applaud you however about being so carelessly outspoken about something you no knowthing about.

I should read the book version; I only remember the hook version. All these childhood stories get so complicated when we try to enjoy them as adults.
